1. Description of Service & Public Data Disclaimer

Alertme.mv provides automated tracking and notification services for Maldivian government gazette updates, Iulaan (announcements), tender amendments, and job vacancies. We utilize third-party messaging platforms (Telegram) and Artificial Intelligence services to deliver custom alerts based on the tracking preferences you set within your account.

2. Use of Artificial Intelligence and Data Accuracy

Alertme.mv utilizes Artificial Intelligence (AI) and automated systems to aggregate, extract, and categorize public announcements from the Maldivian Government Gazette. While we strive for high accuracy, AI processing can occasionally result in errors, omissions, or misclassifications regarding locations, deadlines, categories, or job requirements.

Alertme.mv shall not be held liable for any losses, missed opportunities, or damages arising from reliance on our AI-processed data. See Section 6 (Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability) for further detail.

3. User Accounts and Registration

To fully utilize the Alertme.mv service, you must create an account using a valid email address and connect it to a valid Telegram account. We facilitate this connection via a secure, system-generated "magic link."

• Telegram Connection: You are responsible for ensuring you connect the correct Telegram account. Because we do not collect your mobile phone number, Alertme.mv relies entirely on this Telegram integration to deliver your requested alerts. You must maintain an active Telegram account to receive our services.
• Accuracy: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration (including your email address and payment details).
• Security: You are responsible for safeguarding your account and Telegram access. Alertme.mv is not liable for any unauthorized access to your alerts or data caused by your failure to secure your devices or accounts.
• Fair Use: Each account is intended for individual or internal company use. Reselling, scraping, or redistributing our automated alerts to third parties without our explicit written consent is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate account termination.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Alertme.mv operates on a tiered subscription model (Job Seeker, Freelancer, Business).

• Fees: By selecting a paid tier and billing duration (1 month, 6 months, or 1 year), you agree to pay the subscription fee indicated at the time of purchase. All fees are listed in Maldivian Rufiyaa (MVR) and are paid upfront for the selected period.
• Billing: Payments are made by direct bank transfer to our Bank of Maldives (BML) account. After transferring, you upload a copy of your transfer slip, and we activate your account once the payment is verified.
• Upgrades/Downgrades: You may change your subscription tier at any time. Changes to your task limits will be applied immediately.
• Alert Volume and Monitoring: Your subscription fee covers the cost of our system continuously monitoring the Gazette 24/7 on your behalf. Because the frequency of government publications is entirely out of our control, we do not guarantee a minimum number of alerts per billing cycle. You are paying for the constant automated monitoring of your keywords, regardless of whether the government publishes matching announcements during that specific period.

Please read this section carefully, as it limits our legal liability.

• User Configuration and Accuracy: The relevance and accuracy of the alerts you receive depend entirely on how you configure your preferences, categories, and custom keywords, as well as the performance of our automated AI classification systems. You are solely responsible for setting these parameters correctly. While Alertme.mv is engineered for precision, we provide the Service on an "as is" basis and do not guarantee that our alerts will capture every single publication without error. You are strongly advised to independently verify critical tender deadlines and amendments directly through official channels.
• Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Alertme.mv and its founders shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to lost profits, lost bids, disqualified tenders, or missed employment opportunities resulting from the use, delay, failure, or inaccuracy (including AI misclassification) of our Service.
• Maximum Liability: In no event shall our total liability to you exceed the total amount you paid to us in the one (1) month preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, without prior notice or liability, if you breach these Terms of Service, engage in fraudulent activity, or attempt to reverse-engineer our platform. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

8. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Maldives. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Maldivian courts.
